At yamworks.com, we treat every order as a unique collaboration between the artist and the collector. Because our works are not mass-produced but are individually crafted upon your request, our policy reflects the custom nature of our production process.

1. Custom Production & The Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article 57, item 3 of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.

  • Bespoke Craftsmanship: At yamworks.com, we do not maintain a warehouse of pre-printed stock. Every order initiates a dedicated production process where each item is printed, packed and customized exclusively for the individual receiver.
  • Final Sale: Because each work is a custom-made technical production created specifically for your order, all sales are considered final. We encourage our collectors to review the “Additional Information” tabs and technical specifications thoroughly before completing a purchase to ensure the work aligns with their vision.

2. Damaged or Defective Items

All prints are shipped flat and while the right of withdrawal for “change of mind” is excluded, your right to receive a perfect work of art is absolute. If your order arrives damaged or defective, we will produce it again at no additional cost once the package with all its content has been returned to the artist. Upon receiving the package:

  • External Inspection: Upon delivery, please inspect the shipping container. If it is visibly bent, crushed, or punctured, you must request a “Damage Protocol” from the courier before signing.
  • Reporting: Any internal damage must be reported through the contact us page within 48 hours of delivery. We will get back to you via email or phone.

3. Condition Verification & Heritage Integrity

To protect the value of your collection and the integrity of the archive, yamworks.com maintains a strict “Condition Record” for every dispatch:

  • Pre-Flight Inspection: Every print is inspected and photographed immediately before being sealed. We retain timestamped digital evidence of the artwork’s pristine condition at the time of shipping.
  • Replacement Process: In the rare event of a replacement for damage, the original defective print must be returned or destroyed (with photographic proof) to maintain the “Limited Edition” count and protect the heritage of other collectors.

4. Refunds & Timeline

In cases where a replacement is not possible and a refund is approved:

  • Processing: Refunds are issued via the original payment method (Stripe) within 14 days of the resolution of your claim.
  • Transaction Fees: Per our commitment to our collectors, transaction fees are not deducted from your refund.
